As we have said, Word Clearing is an aspect of Study Technology defined as “the subject and action of clearing away the ignorance, misunderstoods and false definitions of words and barriers to their use.” As also noted, a misunderstood word remains misunderstood until one clears its meaning to a point of full conceptual understanding. Given that the clearing of misunderstood words is so vital to comprehension, L. Ron Hubbard’s 1978 delineation of the procedure is presented here in its entirety.
