Pyro-ortho: Reference to Pyro, a type of film developer and ortho a type of film used in the early days of photography.

Ardures: a coined word meaning things which are hard to accomplish or achieve; things requiring strong effort; difficulties. Formed from the word arduous, derived from the Latin ardu-us, which means “high. steep, difficult.”
