REKINDLING ARTISTIC DREAMS
“A culture is only as great as its dreams,” he had declared, “and its dreams are dreamed by artists.” In that regard, he had further declared, the rehabilitation of the artist becomes a tremendously valid undertaking that would repay the culture a thousand times. That Scientology would naturally lend itself to such a task is axiomatic; for given what Mr. Hubbard had previously determined about man’s intrinsic nature, Dianetics and Scientology directly address the artist on the most fundamental level: his spiritual self. Then, too, when Mr. Hubbard speaks of rehabilitating artistic creativity, he is speaking of rehabilitating the source of all creativity, the human spirit.
